The Wrestling Board was an idea proposed in ‘95 by the then Assistant Varsity and Head Junior Varsity Wrestling Coach RL Lail.

The Wrestling Board was crafted by Jeremy Mullinax, in his senior year of 1995, in the school’s Wood Shop.  He was supervised by Instructor Phil Story.

Materials were donated by Catawba Rasslin‘. Phil created and attached the sign tracks. Jeremy hand drew the Indian Head and hand routed out the material.

Jeremy’s artistic skills will long grace the accomplishments of outstanding

St. Stephens Wrestlers. Jeremy finished Second in the Regional and Fourth in the 3A State this same year at 125 lbs.

Each year, the names of all active wrestlers are listed on this board.  There is also a section for the career and season record holders for wins, takedowns, reversals, escapes, near fall points, and pins.  You can see the top 100 wrestlers in all categories by clicking on to Historical Archives.

Thanks Jeremy and Phil, where ever you are.
